Natlaie Missen – Events Manager

Natalie is new to the Young Australians Tourism Association (YATA) committee, joining only this year in October 2008. She joined the committee to organise and plan events that will benefit and meet the needs of today’s youth who will be entering the workforce within Australia’s Tourism Industry.

Natalie graduated from university in 2007 with a Bachelor of Tourism Management. One of her greatest experiences while at university was working overseas at a U.S ski resort. Natalie is keen to further develop on her skills and events has always interested Natalie as she enjoys the process of organisation and the planning that goes into preparing an event in order to achieve a great outcome and a successful event.

Adding to her tourism background, Natalie was employed at Tourism Council WA as the Membership Officer and was thrilled to take part in the organisation of the 2007 WA Tourism Awards. She then went on to travel once again overseas; returning recently to further develop her career in the Tourism Industry.

As the Events Manager Natalie is responsible for the management of all YATA’s functions and events.

Cara Bradbury – Events Coordinator

Cara Bradbury joined the Young Australians Tourism Association (YATA) in April 2008. She is currently studying Hospitality and Tourism Management at Edith Cowan University. 

As Events Coordinator for YATA, Cara is responsible for coordinating events held by and related to YATA, and assisting Jaye (Events Manager) with the smooth running of Events organised by YATA.

Cara’s strong passion for the exciting and pioneering industry of tourism in Western Australia has lead her to become a strong team player for YATA – driving the ongoing growth and development of the Association. Proud and confident that YATA is educating today’s youth about the rapidly growing tourism industry, she looks forward to seeing what breakthroughs this modern and innovative organisation has to offer.
