Erica Mueller
When I first joined the YATA committee, I was still a student at Edith Cowan University. I graduated with a Bachelor of Tourism Management and a Major in Hospitality Management at the end of 2008. Since then, I have been working in the industry at Tourism Western Australia at the Western Australian Visitor Centre and now at the City of Perth in the Events team. I love tourism and getting out there and meeting people in the industry, and YATA helps me stay involved. I’m only at the beginning of my career and can’t wait to progress in this industry!
I saw joining the YATA committee as the Secretary as an opportunity to expand my contacts within the tourism industry and to become more involved with the organisation, after being a member for a few years.
